Security
C2Share has been designed and implemented to achieve security accreditation. It has been designed, developed and tested within an ISO9000 environment and has been subjected not only to internal code reviews but also to audit by clients’ own Quality Assurance staff.
The development of C2Share has been carried out inside the United Kingdom, and the source code can be reviewed by Government agencies (such as CESG).
Accountability
C2Share utilises digital signing technology to assure accountability for the authorisation and receipt of documents.
The implementation of this (SHA-1) cryptography is available for scrutiny by the appropriate Government Agencies if required.
Confidentiality & Integrity
C2Share provides a mechanism for data separation by virtue of Users and Roles within SharePoint - this separation contributes substantially to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of documents.
C2Share relies on the underlying Windows operating system and network to maintain the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data at the system level.
Authentication
C2Share utilizes the appropriate elements of the underlying Operating System to assure the authentication of Users.
